The fee stops growing at 500,000 BIF, so larger payments cost the same 5,000 BIF. BurundiPay is Burundi’s instant payment service, run by the central bank.

A payment that fails, is abandoned or never clears costs you nothing. The fee applies to money that arrives.

The rates on the card are the whole cost. We take the fee they name and nothing else, so you can budget and forecast before you sign up rather than after your first statement.
Simple
Cards are one rate, whichever card it is. BurundiPay is 1%, and never more than 5,000 BIF. Transfers between Leapa accounts and deposits to your own bank stay free.
